IIT-Hyderabad incubated company delivering O-RAN 5G RAN and NB-IoT silicon
Wisig Networks, incubated at IIT-Hyderabad in 2016, develops and licenses 5G intellectual property and builds disaggregated, standards-compliant O-RAN RAN solutions (DU/CU, integrated gNodeB, and "network-in-a-box") for public, private, rural, and critical deployments. The company holds over 200 patents, 25 declared 5G SEPs, and is a TSDSI Governing Council member.
Got funding support from C-DOT, DCIS & DLI schemes and also raised private funding from external investors.
