Our lab at ICGEB utilizes phage display technology, which has led to the development of potent neutralizing scFvs against various pathogenic viruses, such as influenza and HIV, with real translational impact. In a landmark achievement, we have for the first time in India reported the development of neutralizing scFvs against lethal snake venoms, which can have therapeutic implications in treating life-threatening snake envenoming cases. Our work is paving the way for safer, more effective, and accessible biotherapeutics that can save countless lives.
