National-scale AI platform for predictive disaster risk assessment and early warning
Jarbits is building an AI-powered geospatial intelligence platform, "Terralux," for predictive disaster risk assessment and climate resilience. Terralux integrates satellite, UAV, and IoT data with explainable AI to deliver trusted, real-time insights for governments, infrastructure planners, and disaster management agencies.
Jarbits is currently self-funded and incubated at the Udaan Incubation Program, IIT Kanpur, with early non-dilutive support through institutional recognition and proof of concept (POC) engagements. The company has not raised external venture capital (VC) or angel funding to date but has secured government-linked POC work orders, such as the Kerala State IT Mission landslide mapping project. Jarbits continues to pursue grant and strategic partnership opportunities to accelerate deployment and scale.
Jarbits has initiated intellectual property filings focused on core components of its AI-driven geospatial intelligence platform, including multi-modal hazard prediction algorithms and data fusion workflows integrating satellite, UAV, and IoT sensors. Additional filings are planned to protect visualization and decision-support technologies, strengthening differentiation and commercial defensibility.
