Our landslide monitoring and early warning system uses advanced sensors, real-time data analytics, and remote communication to detect ground movement and predict landslides early. Designed for vulnerable hill regions, it delivers timely alerts to authorities and communities, helping protect lives, infrastructure, and ensure safer disaster management.
1. Initially, we got INR 30,00,000 from IIT Mandi, Catalysts. 2. At present, we are funded by IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies for INR 55,00,000.
The patents detail the development of smart internet of things (IoT) based test bed systems and low-cost sensor-based systems for lab-scale landslide monitoring experiments, subsurface monitoring, and early warning alerts.
Achieved multiple recognitions for innovation in disaster risk reduction and entrepreneurship, including a 3rd prize for DRR prototype development in Shimla and a gold-category SKOCH award for landslide monitoring with IIT Mandi. The IIT Mandi–incubated startup Intiot Services Pvt. Ltd. won 3rd prize in the Chief Minister’s Startup and Innovation Awards 2022. Additionally, received top honours from IIT Madras in 2025 for pioneering landslide early warning innovations.
