Indra's pioneering decentralized treatment of wastewater at the point of source using electricity.
Indra’s patented Electrox solution uses non-contact micro-electrolysis for eco-friendly wastewater treatment. It significantly reduces chemical use (over 97%) and saves up to 90% space. Indra has treated over 4 billion liters of water, offsetting thousands of tons of sludge, harmful chemicals, and potential GHG emissions. The company is currently engaged in over 50 million liters per day of treatment capacity with major clients including Unilever, Tata Steel, Taj Hotels, Hindalco, Everenviro, and JSW.
We have raised our Series A of $4 million USD, which was led by marquee investors: Emerald Technology Ventures, Mela Ventures, Peak Sustainability Ventures, and Climate Angels.
Our patent portfolio covers innovative electrochemistry and physio-electrical reactor technology for industrial and non-industrial wastewater treatment, focusing on pollutant breakdown, efficiency improvements, and novel reactor designs. We also have patents for integrated, real-time air purification and disinfection systems that use novel gas phase pollutant breakdown technology, electron beams, or anion streams, and smart algorithms to dynamically adapt to changing pollutant load.
