Indra's ElectroX - Decentralised Wastewater Treatment Solutions to maximize water reuse
Indra ElectroX is an advanced wastewater treatment system that integrates electro-chemical coagulation, advanced oxidation, electro-sorption, and disinfection using our powerful reactor management system & dynamic treatment mechanisms. Unlike conventional chemical or biological systems, ElectroX efficiently handles shock loads, ensuring consistent performance under varying conditions. Up to 90% less space is required when compared with conventional solutions & modular design allows easy expansion
We were one of the winners of the global freshwater challenge by Uplink (World Economic Forum) and HCL Technologies in 2023. Indra was also awarded as the 'Cleantech Asia Pacific Company of the Year 2025' by Cleantech Group, Marico Innovation Foundation's Indian Innovation Icons 2025, and Forbes India's Climate Warriors 2025.
The company raised a US$4 million Series A round, announced on 18 January 2024, led by Emerald Technology Ventures (Switzerland) and Mela Ventures (India). Other participating investors include Peak Sustainability Ventures and The Climate Angels.
