Evoxia is a deep-tech biorefinery platform engineering the end of crop residue burning. We don't just manage waste; we mine it. Our proprietary solvent-based fractionation technology processes waste paddy straw into four high-purity revenue streams: Bio-S.
Evoxia is a deep-tech startup converting waste paddy straw into sustainable specialty chemicals like bio-silica, HPMC, and 2G ethanol. Our circular economy model eradicates stubble burning by valorizing biomass, creating high-value, carbon-negative inputs for the pharmaceutical and food industries.
Pre-seed stage: Supported by Nidhi-Prayas (DST, Government of India) and IKP Future Stars Grant. Incubated at SIIC IIT Kanpur and BITS Pilani (PIEDS). Currently raising INR 2.3 crores for pilot plant commissioning.
Process IP 1: Broad area covering solvent-based fractionation of lignocellulosic biomass for the simultaneous extraction of biogenic silica, cellulose derivatives, and lignin.
Winner of IKP Future Stars Grant; NIDHI-Prayas Grantee; selected for Sakura Science Program (Japan) for advanced research at Kyoto University.
A compact, high-performance team led by second-generation entrepreneurs (alumni of CEG, Anna University), with a core technical team of process engineers and microbiologists specializing in bioprocessing and scale-up, supported by a scientific advisory board including PhD professors (Shiv Nadar University) and industry veterans.
