Eliciton Innovations Pvt. Ltd., a biotech startup based in Hyderabad, develops advanced, field-ready diagnostic solutions for zoonotic diseases. Their flagship technology, the Brudiva Diagnostic Kit—India’s first DIVA-capable brucellosis detection kit—and a Rapid Lateral Flow Assay (LFA) test kit, accurately differentiates infected animals from vaccinated (DIVA) ones. Eliciton Innovations empowers farmers, veterinarians, and nations with reliable tools for early detection and effective disease management. Their mission is to strengthen livestock productivity, protect rural livelihoods, and advance One Health goals through innovative, accessible diagnostic solutions.
Received a grant from DBT-BIRAC to undertake validation of India’s first DIVA-capable diagnostic kits. Received a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop a novel point-of-care test for detection of filariasis in humans.
Technology transferred from National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB) for DIVA-capable diagnostic kit, and patent secured by NIAB.
Awarded third prize at the International Knowledge Millennium Conference (IKMC)-2025, organized by IKP Knowledge Park at Hyderabad, India. Best oral presentation at the Human Veterinary Oncology (HVO) & One Health Conference (OHC)-2025, organized by BBIF at Lucknow, India.
The team consists of 5 people from diverse academic and industry backgrounds. The founder has more than 15 years of experience in the field of biotechnology and worked at Bharat Biotech, India, on the development of a brucellosis vaccine.
