Funding / Grants

1. Meity's TIDE 2.0 7 lakh grant. 2. Meity's SAMRIDH 2.0 40 lakh equity-based funding (requires matched funding). 3. Won iDEX Challenge ADITI 2.0, a tech development grant worth 25 crore over a period of 3 years; Deeplase has to match the funding. 4. Raised 6 crore from VC firms. 5. Indo-US Endowment Fund, our share: 70 lakh.

Patents & IP

We are in the process of acquiring the exclusive license for the patent "Bend Compensated Optical Fibers," Indian Patent No. 562323, from IIT Delhi. The founder is the inventor.

1) Selected for a presentation at Indian Mobile Conference (IMC) opening ceremony in front of PM Narendra Modi ji. 2) Incubated at FITT, IIT Delhi.

Team

Deeplase is an IIT Delhi spin-off deep-tech startup, founded by an IIT Delhi professor with a PhD from the world-leading Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC), University of Southampton, and postdoctoral experience at DTU Denmark and the University of Sydney, alongside a computer science graduate who drives business development and strategic growth. The core team, which includes two IIT Delhi PhD researchers, brings global research pedigree, technical depth, and entrepreneurial energy to build India’s next generation of laser and photonic systems.
