A lab-in-a-box delivering rapid, cartridge-based molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases
Bharat Helix has developed a compact "lab-in-a-box" molecular diagnostic platform using cartridge-based real-time PCR. It automates extraction and amplification to deliver rapid, accurate, and comprehensive panel testing in under two hours for TB, HPV, STIs, and fever pathogens, enabling scalable point-of-care infectious disease diagnostics across diverse clinical settings.

Cartridge and machine: Patent filing initiated with IP team FITT, IIT Delhi
Although we have not yet participated in formal competitions (as we plan to do after filing our IP), we have successfully demonstrated our prototype at two major events: Startup Mahakumbh and Fitt Forward 2025.
The two founders combine strong technical and domain expertise in design engineering, medical device development, and molecular diagnostics, offering a powerful blend of engineering, biology, and translational product knowledge.
