Bariflo Cybernetics has secured approximately INR 658.6 million in total funding (grants, equity, and debt) from national and international institutions. Support came from premier agencies including DST-TDB, BIRAC, MeitY, NIDHI, SIDBI, MoHUA, Startup Odisha, AIM-RISE-CSIRO, Fisheries Challenge Fund, and DCIS-DoT. These funds have been used for R&D, pilot deployments, manufacturing scale-up, and commercialization in aquaculture, oil refinery wastewater, and municipal water treatment. The continued funding and revenue demonstrate strong technological credibility and alignment with national priorities on sustainability, Industry 5.0, and water security.
Bariflo cybernetics has established a strong Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio to safeguard its DeepTech innovations across cyber-physical systems, aquaculture automation, electrochemical wastewater treatment, sensors, AI-driven control systems, and robotics. The company has filed 42 patents, with 31 granted and published, and 11 currently under examination. These patents cover key technologies like proprietary reactor designs, electro-coagulation and electro-flotation systems, energy-efficient motor control, sensor technologies, AI POD architectures, robotics, and blockchain-enabled traceability systems. This IP provides strong technological defensibility, allowing scalable commercialization in aquaculture, oil refinery wastewater, and municipal water treatment sectors.
