Agnikul Cosmos is an Indian space technology startup, incubated by the IIT-Madras and headquartered in Chennai. The company builds dedicated, fully customizable and transportable launch vehicles for small satellites to Low Earth Orbits (LEO). Agnikul's vision is to bring space within everyone's reach, aiming to enable launches from anywhere, anytime, affordably.
Agnikul Cosmos, a Chennai-based spacetech startup, recently raised $17 million in a fresh funding round, valuing the company at $500 million. The capital, sourced from a mix of family offices and institutional investors, will be used to scale up manufacturing of aerospace and rocket components, advance its stage-recovery program, and build an integrated 350-acre space campus in Tamil Nadu for design, production, and testing of launch systems.
