Aavinyaa Strategies, IIM-Mumbai's healthcare venture studio and accelerator, supports medtech, healthcare, and biotech companies across South-East Asia. As operator co-founders, they help raise capital, clinically validate products and services, manage revenue cycles and cash flows, strategize go-to-market, and expand the bottom line. They derisk healthcare investments for funders through their domain knowledge and business expertise. At Bharat Innovates, the team is tackling the pressing problem of early detection of relapse in hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. They aim to build upon research at the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and the National Institute of Biomedical Genomics, Kalyani, by developing novel technologies and assays to non-invasively increase the lead time of detection for cancer relapse in this largest subtype of any cancer worldwide.
We are an early-stage, pre-revenue company that has raised pre-seed funding from IIM-Mumbai.
We are in the process of filing a patent for our novel process, which has been developed upon existing research.
The underlying research has been published in two top biomedical journals: Nature Communications Biology and Breast Cancer Research & Treatment.
Our team consists of founders with 14 years of experience from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, management training from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and finance training from the National Institute of Securities Management (NISM), SEBI. We also have top Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in diagnostics, marketing, and oncology on board.
