Utilizing these leaves to produce LPC resolves the issue of valuable resource wastage and generates products for both food and feed. The protein-rich LPC can be used for human consumption, and the press cake bagasse remaining after protein extraction can be utilized for feed purposes. As a plant-based protein source, it offers a sustainable solution to meet the growing global protein demand.
