Glowvista Instruments is a deep-tech healthcare startup developing AI-enabled portable microscopy for last-mile diagnostics. Our flagship product, Smart Scope, combines intelligent autofocusing, automated image analysis, and digital pathology to enable fast, accurate disease screening in rural, remote, and resource-limited healthcare settings.
The project has secured funding from MeitY TIDE 2.0 (₹3L), MeitY GENESIS (₹7L), and NIDHI PRAYAS (₹5L). It is actively raising ₹1 Cr to advance its AI-powered autofocusing microscope from TRL-4 to TRL-8 and achieve regulatory readiness. The TRL-4 lab-validated prototype achieved 96.4% accuracy in White Blood Cell (WBC) classification in under 7 seconds. Designed for low-cost, portable deployment in rural and field conditions, the team is validating usability insights from 12 Primary Health Centres (PHCs). The project is incubated at FTBI–NIT Rourkela and leading Atal Incubation Centres.
The technology portfolio includes intellectual property covering AI-based autofocusing, optofluidic microscopy, and high-throughput optofluidic imaging, with plans for expansion into AI microscopy and microfluidic diagnostics.
