Armatrix Automations is an industrial robotics company specializing in the development of advanced, snake-like robotic arms for inspection and maintenance in heavy and hazardous industries.
Armatrix Automations is a deep-tech inspection and maintenance robotics company that builds specialized, snake-like robotic arms for confined and hazardous environments. Our robotic systems automate complex tasks in hard-to-reach areas of high-value machinery, which reduces operational costs, improves safety, and enhances efficiency across industrial operations. By addressing a significantly underserved market, we deliver cutting-edge robotic solutions that enable safer, faster, and more reliable maintenance workflows.
Armatrix has raised USD 2.1 million to date in a round led by Pi Ventures, a prominent Indian deep-tech fund. The round saw participation from Boost VC (a leading Silicon Valley frontier-tech investor), Turbostart, Gradcapital, Boundless Ventures, and Inuka Capital. Angel investors include the founders of Pixxel Space (Awais Ahmed and Kshitij Khandelwal) and Nikhil Kamath.
Armatrix is in the process of filing multiple patents across its core innovation areas, including hyper-redundant robotic architectures, quasi-helical tendon routing, modular actuation subframes, and advanced sensing systems for constrained-environment inspection and manipulation.
Recipient of Gradcapital Atomic Fellowship, 2023. Recipient of Emergent Ventures Grant, 2024. Inducted into Cohort-2 of WTFund by Nikhil Kamath, 2025. Inducted into Shell E4 Cohort, 2025. Winner – Vizag Port Startup Innovation Challenge, 2025.
The founders are IIT Kanpur alumni, bringing multidisciplinary expertise across robotics, control systems, mechanical design, and deep-tech engineering.
